Nutrition and Success from March Boot Camp

Happy March!

Here’s the latest from Boot Camp for March:

Welcome back Sandy Estenson.
Sandy is one of our original Boot Campers and
she had to leave us briefly for about a month
and a half.  She’s back and hitting it just as hard
as she did before she left.  We’re excited to have
her back and to watch her regain her strength and
endurance just in time for summertime hikes and
outdoor fun!

Nutrition tip
:  This was sent to be by a client (thanks
Bev!) The internet is a great and scary place to get
nutrition info.  There is so much out there that claims
to be reliable and is not at all.  Here’s a quality site…and
it’s free.  www.acaloriecounter.com.  Want to know what
the nutrition info is for any and all food items?  Visit this site.
You simply enter the food, it presents you with options.

Here’s an example.  Let’s say you enter “strawberries” It will
let choose types (raw, canned, frozen).  Pick what you have
and it lets you choose serving sizes from 1 strawberry to
pints/ounces and/or grams.  Not only that, it gives you the
full label…fat, types of fat, carbs, fiber, protein, vitamins,
minerals, even caffeine, fluoride and anti-oxidant info.  More
than you ever needed to know about your food.

It’s a powerful resource and a great way to get a handle on
what you’re eating.  Visit today! www.acaloriecounter.com.

Wishing you a happy, healthy day!
Cheers,
Ginny
